Happy Easter!

Hello All You Sweet Lambs!

I know I am late but since it is still the Easter season,

I hope each one of you shared a blessed and beautiful Easter with your loved ones.

I invited a small group of family and friends for lunch on Easter day.

Here are a few snaps of my Easter dining table all ready for the lunch.

I love this tablecloth I purchased on etsy last year.  It has all my favorite colors and looks so cheerful!

I pulled out my mom's china, my milk glass goblets and some pretty salad plates I bought a few years ago.

I served quiche lorraine (pictured above), deviled eggs, asparagus with balsamic drizzle and a special pear salad recipe that my dear friend, Jennifer Hayslip was kind enough to pass to me!

Below is the centerpiece I made!

The centerpiece and a shot of my place settings.  I had to run out to get paper napkins because I couldn't find any other napkins in the house!

I spent several late nights working on this centerpiece, trying to make something similar to another piece that I fell in love with on etsy.

The topper on the side below is a vintage lavender prize ribbon with a vintage easter brooch.

I rolled and rolled a styrofoam cone with 6" lavender tulle and added ruffled crepe paper in aqua.  Then I added miniatures and pieces of vintage easter jewelry, buttons, beads, millinery, etc. with colored pearl straight pins and with hot glue.

I had a big collection of fabric flower petals and used them underneath my  miniatures

The topper on the side below is a vintage Easter floral pick with ribbons and trim.

These pictures were taken earlier in the week.  After I took this, I kept adding flowers and glittered jelly beans and trims until it was completely covered!

I believe I used most of the Easter miniatures and decorations I had left!

The topper is a lavender vintage prize ribbon that I attached flower petals and a vintage Easter chick pen onto.

At "The Mall", my precious 2 year old grandson, Nathan got to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap.

I took these from a distance, so they are fuzzy… like all good Easter bunnies should be!

Some kids are afraid of big animal costumes, but not our Nathan.  He ran up and hugged the bunny the same way he hugged the Chic-Fil-A cow last Christmas.

Last, I am sharing some "throw-back" photos from 1978.

This is my family.  I am on the left and my twin sister, Janet is on the right.  I was always shorter
and we NEVER looked like twins!

This was taken at our Gram's house and the little terrier in the above picture was named Randiera!  Gram made our dresses.

I hope you enjoyed my Easter!

Please visit again soon!

Jennifer

This sweet tree sold as soon as I listed it!

I'm listing a pale pink tree very soon and I promise, it will be just as cute!

I've been working on these little baskets since February and they have been very popular since I started selling them!

The baskets underneath are vintage tart tins.  Some were covered with pretty fabric and some are the original tin.

Each one is unique and is covered with ribbons, millinery,
beads and trim.

Crafting is just a little addicting so I have SEVERAL
baskets in stock.

All are 15% off!

There are pretty pastel bunny families

and sweet flocked lambs in silver tart tins with glitter bunnies...

Colorful Chicks and vintage miniatures with Flocked and glittered bottlebrush trees…

Pretty purples, lavenders and pinks….

The basket above is decorated with a vintage floral picks and vintage forget-me-nots I found at local estate sales.

The yellow chick in this basket was also a vintage floral pick from an estate sale here in Macon.

The yellow bunny was part of a vintage sugar egg diorama I found at an estate sale years ago.  When the sugar melted in the moist basement, I was only able to save the bunny!

These eggs I redecorated.  I also found them in a local estate sale five years ago!  The decorations inside weren't that pretty but the eggs were worth saving for a makeover!

The back of the pink egg was decoupaged by the lady who owned the estate. I have several vintage decorated eggs similar to this that I treasure!

I love bright colors as well as pastels at Easter.  I just love all the colors of Spring!

The last item I have to show is so special that I almost can't part with it!

I found this aqua bunny candy machine on Ebay and made it into a diorama using a vintage flocked miniature chick, daisy petals, glitter eggs and millinery.

However, I will find myself making another something and I can't keep it all!!

You can find my one of a kind diorama in my shop and it's 15% off too!

Please stop by for a LOOK and remember the coupon code is APRIL!

Happy Spring!  I hope that you are blessed!
